Clinical Statistician – Kent

Leading organisation in Kent are looking for an experienced Clinical Statistician, with experience of the early stages of clinical studies.

Contract - £30-£50 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

*Previous work history as a statistician (clinical) within a pharmaceutical, Clinical or Research organisation.
*Experience of Phases I and II clinical trials, with experience of Pre-Clinical studies being an advantage, however not essential.  (If you have experience of other stages please contact me also, as this may be accepted).
*Ability to provide statistical input to design of studies and be able to write statistical sections of the protocols.
*Write statistical analysis plans.
*Work with clinical programmers on the data analysis for the study report, following the statistical analysis plan.
*Conduct exploratory analysis.
*Conduct simulation studies.
*Provide general statistical consultancy support to the clinical team.
*represent clinical statistics at various technical meetings.
*Support other statisticians working on pre-clinical studies as demand requires.

Dependant on experience the rate for the role will be between £30-£55 per hour.   The role will be based on a 37 hour week.  This is a full time contract for 6 months and may have the flexibility to work one day per week from home.
