Product Development Scientist - Kent

6 months contract initially - £15/h - £20/h

Product Development Scientist is sought to work for a global company in Kent. You must come from a scientific, research or pharmaceutical background.

You will work under supervision of a team leader, responsible for planning,generating and delivering quality work in a timely manner in support of dry powder inhalation formulations and manufacturing processes. You will be part of the department responsible for developing a range of products across a number of therapeutic areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

- BS in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry or related field
- Proven practical experience in a pharmaceutical setting (general laboratory procedures).
- Ability to follow procedures reliably and consistently
- Desire to work in the laboratory as part of a team conducting quality experiments on the development of medicines.
- Capability in oral solution and oral suspension dosage form development
- Capability in tablet formulation

Dependant on experience the rate for the role will be between £15 - £20 per hour. The role will be based on a 37 hour week. This is a full time contract for 6 months, very likely to be extended after that.
